Jana is crowned Christmas Queen

Hi! I just had to share the news about Jana. She ran for Corcoran's Christmas Queen/Princess this year and she was crowned Queen on Tuesday night. She even won over a junior in highschool...in fact she was (I think) the youngest one entered and took the cake.

It was really funny yesterday morning (day of parade) it was raining a bit and she says, "I hope it doesn't rain on my parade," then she cups her hand over her mouth and says, "Oh that's where that comes from."

She was so adorable and it did so much for her. Anyway I'm going to try and publish a few photos on here so you can all see.

Happy Christmas Everyone!!!

Tis the Season

Hello Everyone!!!

I cannot believe that tomorrow is December 1st. This year has truly flown by.

G is on the East Coast now and doing well. Brandon and Jana are liking their teachers and doing very well with their classes. My classes are going well too - start Fresno State in january. Olive has been with us for awhile now but will be heading back to Bill's the middle of December to spend Christmas. Curt is less busy but the job is crazy none the less. I'm still working too but very few hours. We are all looking forward to some time off to do as little as possible!!!

I hope this find everyone well and happy. Hugs to all! Love, Shannon

Welcome to my blog!!!

Hi! I did it...Now I have a blog too. Hopefully this will make updating everyone and sharing photo's alot easier.

It's Friday night and of course I'm on the computer and everyone else is either in bed or on the other computer (what can I say, we're all geeks). Tomorrow will bring a birthday party for the kids to attend and home work for me and lots (and I mean lots) of laundry. Feeling sorry for me yet! Then we're (Curt and I and the kids) off to Jone's 50th birthday party. We are looking forward to celebrating with her.

Bran got his braces off last week and his teeth look absolutely beautiful (see photo).

Both kids are doing wonderful in school, we couldn't ask for better students and as for that grown child of ours...we are always wondering about him and often worry, but we are so proud of him I can't even tell you. I tried calling him earlier but didn't get an answer...I guess that's life when you have an 18 (very soon to be 19) year old.

That's it for now guys...I hope you all like the blog and are able to post from time to time.

Love & Hugs,

Shan
